20 TRUE CLUB SOLUTIONS For the Agronomic & Renovation Services team at True Club Solutions (TCS) – golf club operator Troon’s advisory division – 2025 has been a transformative year. TCS broadened its offering beyond golf course construction-oriented services, to now also include agronomy, maintenance support and golf course design. A busy 2025 gave the company the opportunity to successfully complete projects in all these areas. TCS began the year in Quincy, Illinois, wrapping up a bunker renovation for a private club. The project combined the design services of architect Art Schaupeter, ASGCA, with the construction expertise of the TCS crew. The renovation included new bunkers, the renovation of many existing hazards and the removal of some unnecessary bunkers. The new bunkers have a more visible, natural look that adds substantially to the aesthetic presentation of the holes. The bentgrass fairways were also expanded in select areas to add strategic angles of play. Closer to TCS’s home office in Scottsdale, Arizona, the company completed two greens projects – the first being at the Boulders Resort in Carefree. TCS restored greens on the North course to their original sizes and resurfaced all with TifEagle. Overlapping the Boulders project, TCS had a second crew work on a similar green resurfacing project at Starr Pass in Tucson.
